That's what I like. Or chicken.

1 jar of Sauce (you can do Pesto, Alfredo, Spaghetti...)

A small dish with water

First, gather your filling ingredient. Cook any meat you may want to add. Set them on a clean table or counter. Place some wax paper out to work over, that makes clean up easy!

Pull apart two won ton wrappers and place them on your table. Rub water all over the top side of both. Then place about 1 Tablespoon of filling in the center of one of the two won ton wrappers, a pinch of each filling if your doing two fillings. Then place the other wrapper on top. They will stick together well since they are wet but you may want to press edges with a fork to keep them from opening.

Once you have filled your raviolis boil them in a pot of boiling water for about 2 minutes. Drain them. Serve them with your sauce of choice on top! Sprinkle a pinch of cheese on top for garnish. Asparagus makes a great side dish for this meal!!!!

Enjoy your fancy Ravioli Dinner!!!

Yoshida's Ramen!

1 package Ramen noodles (any flavor)

1/2 Tablespoon butter or margarine

3 Tablespoons Yoshida's sauce

1/2 cup frozen veggies if you'd like to turn it into a stir fry.

Cook the ramen noodles like normal but do not put the seasoning packet in. You can use canned chicken, leftover chicken or turkey. If you don't have any of those, you can boil some chicken, let it cool then cut it up.

1 package pie crust dough (should be two crusts in one box, one for top and one for bottom)
1 smaller bag frozen peas and carrots (or whatever veggies you'd like to add, maybe carrots...)
1 and 1/2 cups cooked chicken (or turkey)
1/4 cup milk or cream
1/4 cup onion (if you like onion)
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder or garlic salt
2 teaspoons back pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Get out a pie pan and spray it with cooking spray.
Open up the pie crust and place one of them into the sprayed pan. Don't poke holes in it, ok? The juice will all leak out if you do that.
In a pan on the stove, combine the milk, onion and spices (if you don't have one of the spices, its ok)
Cook it on medium high while you....
Put chicken and veggies on top of the pie crust. Once your finished with that, drizzle the milk over the chicken and veggies. Now carefully place other pie shell on top of your creation. Use a fork to press the edges down all around edge of the pie crust.

Cook it for 45 minutes, keep an eye on it. It may need to cook a little longer or a little less.

Sparkling Apple Slush!

This one is pretty yummy! Butter one side of both slices.

If you like BBQ sauce, spread a little on one of the un-buttered sides of the bread.

Second, slice a few slices of cheddar cheese (enough to cover one slice of your bread). Place it on one of the un-buttered sides.

If you feel like it, place a slice of lunch meat on top of the cheese. If not, just put the other slice of bread on top (butter facing up).

Now, get a frying pan out, put it on the stove. Turn the stove onto medium and wait about 1 minute for it to heat up. Then place your sandwich on the pan. After about 3 minutes, flip it! It should be golden brown. Wait for the next side to be cooked to perfection and ta-da! You have a yummy grilled cheese sandwich!

Kool-Aid Pie

Yum! It's even more important to remember to wash your hands after touching raw meat.

2) Be SUPER careful with sharp objects. Knives, scissors and peelers are great tools in the kitchen but they can also hurt! Just remember to go slow, watch closely and don't get distracted!
** Also! It's really not a good idea to use sharp objects without asking first.

3) Don't get burned! The stove and oven get so hot they can really hurt! Here are some tips on how to stay safe: use hot mits, keep pan handles to the side so you don't accidentally spill something hot on yourself of others, and keep paper and cloth off the hot surfaces.
** Ask for help when taking things out of the oven until you feel very comfortable doing it yourself. I am still too afraid to take some things out so I have my parents (or husband) help me... and I'm an adult!

4) Steam Burns! Speaking of not burning yourself... did you know that steam can burn you worse that boiling water?! Don't stick your face or hands in steam. While pouring hot water, use a hot mit and make sure the pan is not facing towards you.

5) Keep your hair in a pony tail if it goes past your shoulders. No one likes hair in their food! Eww!

6) Keep liquids cleaned up! Leaving some spilled water on the floor can cause you to slip and fall! Just quickly wipe it up with a paper towel to keep from falling.

Now don't get too worried. While the kitchen can be dangerous, it's a really safe place as long as everyone is careful!
