Won Ton Ravioli

This is a fun and very delicious way to make ravioli!

You'll need:
1 package Won Ton Wrappers (find them near the tofu/produce section)
Cheese of your choice for filling (mozzarella, feta, cream cheese, provolone...)
You could add ground sausage! That's what I like. Or chicken.
1 jar of Sauce (you can do Pesto, Alfredo, Spaghetti...)
A small dish with water

First, gather your filling ingredient. Cook any meat you may want to add. Set them on a clean table or counter. Place some wax paper out to work over, that makes clean up easy!
Pull apart two won ton wrappers and place them on your table. Rub water all over the top side of both. Then place about 1 Tablespoon of filling in the center of one of the two won ton wrappers, a pinch of each filling if your doing two fillings. Then place the other wrapper on top. They will stick together well since they are wet but you may want to press edges with a fork to keep them from opening.

Once you have filled your raviolis boil them in a pot of boiling water for about 2 minutes. Drain them. Serve them with your sauce of choice on top! Sprinkle a pinch of cheese on top for garnish. Asparagus makes a great side dish for this meal!!!!

Enjoy your fancy Ravioli Dinner!!!

Yoshida's Ramen!

1 package Ramen noodles (any flavor)
1/2 Tablespoon butter or margarine
3 Tablespoons Yoshida's sauce

1/2 cup frozen veggies if you'd like to turn it into a stir fry.

Cook the ramen noodles like normal but do not put the seasoning packet in. Once noodles are drained, place back on stove. Add butter and sauce. Stir and cook for about 1 minute.

If you'd like to make this dish into a stir fry, just add the veggies at the same time as the butter and sauce. Eat when the veggies are cooked! (about 5 minutes).

I love this recipe because I love Yoshida's and it's nice to have a different flavored ramen now and then. I hope you enjoy it as well!

Thumbprint Cookies

1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/4 cup white sugar
1 large egg (put yoke in dough and leave the white in a dish)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (140 grams) all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chopped pecans

In a seperate bowl combine flour and salt. In your mixing bowl cream, with a mixer, the butter and sugar together for a couple of minutes. Once it's fluffy, add in egg yoke and vanilla. Then slowly combine the flour to the mixture. Once it's all mixed roll dough into one inch balls. Roll balls into egg white, then into the pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven to make thumbprint and place back in oven for another 7-8 minutes.

Once cookies have cooled, put either jam or frosting into the thumbprints. YUMMY!
